Belgian Cyber Force

Our society continues to digitalise. Cyberspace is constantly evolving and, at the same time, the risks of disinformation, espionage and cyberattacks are increasing.

We monitor the cyber security of the networks and weapon systems used by Defence, gather information for the military intelligence service GISS, and conduct operations in cyberspace. Together with various national and international stakeholders and with the academic, industrial and non-profit sectors, we work every day to support out country’s cybersecurity.

  • To carry out their missions, our minehunters, F-35's, MQ-9B drones and combat vehicles must be able to move freely. To protect them from cyberattacks, we equip them with cryptographic keys and secure software systems.

Every day, we safeguard the security of all Belgian Defence communication-, information- and weapon systems.
