On May 19th, military and civilian authorities illustrated the departure of the Tactical Leadership Program (TLP) to Spain on the base of Florennes. The TLP, founded in the Allied Air Forces Central Europe (AAFCE) organizes courses of tactics, techniques and procedures to develop multinational air operations improvement.

At its creation in 1978, the TLP was hosted in Germany. In 1989 it moved to the air base of Florennes. Around 100 flying and 200 academic training courses were organized on the Belgian base, some of the TLP's most recognized organization for training in NATO air tactics in Europe.

Each training session had about 500 participants. A large organization, where the personnel of Florennes worked with proud for  during twenty years.

The TLP witch combines Belgium, Denmark, Germany, Italy, Netherlands, Spain, the United Kingdom and the USA will move this summer to Albacete in south-eastern Spain.
